Greatness in Service Celebration introduction:
\nIf we are able to comprehend the servant\u2019s faithfulness, and that of our Lord Jesus who chooses to bear our sins, we will be living Isaiah 53.
\nMake the best of all your days on earth. Our salvation gifted by Jesus Christ yields us a bountiful existence within eternity.
\nMortals of all kinds do succumb to sin from time to time, even the high priests. Jesus does not succumb to sin. Although He is extremely passionate in His pursuit of His obedience to His Father’s wishes, He does not err, Jesus displays perfection in behavior. This perfection is something we should seek to emulate.
\nGospel
\nJames and John follow Jesus\u2019 revealing statement in a manner that demonstrates how little they have learned for the time they followed Jesus. James and John fail to acknowledge Jesus\u2019 anticipation of suffering and death; instead they imagine a regal scene where they sit in positions of honor and power at King Jesus\u2019 right and left. Sometimes we may say, “I wish I could be more like Jesus!” Is this really our wish? If we want this wish to come true, we must give our lives in service to others.<\/p>\n

\nThose who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. Ps. 91:14.
