Teacher, How do we bridge Scripture and the realm of science in youth ministry?
\nWe may choose a creative example inspired by Scripture through the working of the Holy Spirit in the Rockets Devotion for Youth.
\nWith a timely tribute to Father’s Day, Dad can engage this one and be a model teaching example to youth. <\/p>\n

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Presentation Theme Guidance.
\nDiscuss how the rocket is only seen by a few people when it is on the ground, but when it has the power and launches, it is seen by many people all around.
\nWhen we have the power of the Holy Spirit inspiring us, we are able to be a greater witness to all nations (people). <\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:28-31
\n28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
\nThe Lord is the everlasting God,
\n the Creator of the ends of the earth.
\nHe does not faint or grow weary;
\n his understanding is unsearchable.
\n29 He gives power to the faint,
\n and to him who has no might he increases strength.
\n30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
\n and young men shall fall exhausted;
\n31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
\n they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
\nthey shall run and not be weary;
\n they shall walk and not faint. <\/p>\n

Presentation Theme Guidance.
\nTalk about when we pray for God’s help, He gives us all the strength that we need on the inside to do what He asks us to.
\nWe are also able to go farther, higher and accomplish goals once we have recieved His strength. <\/p>\n

Zechariah. 4:4-6
\n4 And I said to the angel who talked with me, \u201cWhat are these, my Lord?\u201d 5 Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, \u201cDo you not know what these are?\u201d I said, \u201cNo, my Lord.\u201d 6 Then He said to me, \u201cThis is the Word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts. <\/p>\n

We are like rockets when it comes to serving The Lord. We need high power fuel.
\nThe Holy Spirit brings us strength and inspiration.
\nThe Lord tells us to rely on His spirit.
\nWe have The Lord’s spirit in us.
\nWe choose to do something pleasing to The Lord.
\nWe rely on The Lord’s power.
\nStand back while we do something powerful for The Lord.
\nWhat do we do?
\nWhat can we do to serve The Lord this week?
\nRemind the youth to show everyone their high power fuel rockets and what they do to serve The Lord. <\/p>\n

Closing Prayer.
\nIn Jesus’ name we pray,
\nDear Jesus,
\nFor our youth all over the Lord’s bountiful creation,
\nas precious believers in You,
\nPlease give our youth the patience to wait on You,
\nPlease send them the Holy Spirit,
\nso You may lead them in the path of righteousness and
\nthey may soar like rockets to engage your call.
\nFor all who lead youth in ministry,
\nMay The Lord bless you and guard you,
\nMay The Lord show you His favor and be gracious to you,
\nMay The Lord show you His kindness and grant You His peace.
\nAmen <\/p>\n
