Introduction:
\nIsaiah tells us that when we worship, we should do it selflessly, more concerned for the community than for self.
\nIn Psalm 112 David tells us that if you are good you will do well.
\nIn 1 Cor. 2 Paul speaks to us as it informs us we may come to adopt the righteousness of Jesus through servitude and this culminates our days in knowing Joy.
\nWe are still at the scene of Jesus preaching the Sermon on the Mount. Today, Matthew brings us awareness of the responsibilities of discipleship. It is ours to live out our identity, today we focus on salt and light. In our natural dispositions, we may seek comfort, yet Jesus calls upon us to be salt and light. We will explore this call.<\/p>\n
