Meals From The Heartland mealsfromtheheartland.org is a non-profit organization delivering meals to starving people around the world.
\nAt the #LCMC14 Gathering Spirit of Peace Church Valley Nebraska peacelcmc.org went the distance skipping dinner and other scheduled evening activities in order to pack meals from start to finish, from newbie assembly line workers to the very last boxed meal.
\nAll said there were over 275,000 boxes of 32 bagged meals packaged in this effort to feed starving people around the globe.
\nThe meals consist of bagged rice, soy, vegetables and vitamins. 300 gram dry weight packages are expected to feed one meal to six people. <\/p>\n
