“Now thank we all our God” is a popular Christian hymn. It is a translation from the German “Nun danket alle Gott”, written about 1636 by Martin Rinkart (1586\u20131649), a Lutheran Minister. This hymn of abid\u00ading trust and gra\u00adti\u00adtude to\u00adward God is a test\u00ada\u00adment to Martin Rinkart’s faith and an appropriate choice for us to celebrate our trust and gratitude also! <\/p>\n

Now Thank We All Our God
\nNow thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices,
\nWho wondrous things has done, in Whom this world rejoices;
\nWho from our mothers\u2019 arms has blessed us on our way
\nWith countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.<\/p>\n

O may this bounteous God through all our life be near us,
\nWith ever joyful hearts and bless\u00e8d peace to cheer us;
\nAnd keep us in His grace, and guide us when perplexed;
\nAnd free us from all ills, in this world and the next!<\/p>\n

All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given;
\nThe Son and Him Who reigns with Them in highest Heaven;
\nThe one eternal God, whom earth and Heaven adore;
\nFor thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore. <\/p>\n
